The program is called AssureID Sentinel (~$700-1000/year) and the hardware itself is either an Acuant ID-150 (~$600 or $200-300 used), or an E-Seek M500 (~$2500) if I recall correctly.

If you want a full setup like what they use at clubs, there's also a frontend to AssureID sold other companies that rebrand it. I have no idea what that costs since we made our own.

You can probably find the hardware on ebay, but to buy the software it has to be registered to a legitimate business.

edit: whoever asked if we tried it on our ID I can't reply to your post for some reason. i answered this before; there was a time we got it to work just to prove that we could, but since it isn't a feature useful to people trying to drink, we haven't maintained it and I'm not really sure what it does nowadays.

@monkey still can't reply to your post however, as mentioned: no clue. if I had to guess, it'd do better than the average fake (because we have reversed it at one point), but probably wouldn't be perfect. i haven't even bothered to get the updates after we lost interest.

When will your raised text MI ID be available to be sold?

It was discontinued. They didn't sell very many and it was apparent a majority of the people who did buy them weren't aware of just how minor the raised text on a real MI is.

Is the raised text feature really helpful to get fakes to pass?

No it rubs off on real IDs all the time.
