Best ID for use in multiple states? ( self )

Basically, I'm looking for ID's that would work well in both the DMV area, as well as in areas surrounding large college campuses. Also, if anyone has recommendations for which sites are best that'd be great, thanks!!

I went to school in dc and my friends got by with Texas and California fakes fine. The nice thing about using a fake in DC is a lot of people who live and work in DC aren't from DC
