Introduction: I received OIS's nTX in exchange for my review. I have a few issues I would like to see fixed but overall it's solid. I unfortunately do not have a legit nTX to compare to.
Communication: 10/10 - Responded quickly on Wickr, better than other vendors I've ordered with in the past
Cost: 9/10 - I received these at no cost for my review. At the normal price of $120 I'd be a little disappointed but once the issues are fixed, I think this would be a great deal with OIS's 50% off group pricing.
Shipping: 10/10 - Awesome speed for shipping during a pandemic. Arrived 10 days after order was placed, shipping itself took ~4 days with FedEx. Stealth was very good, I would have been fooled if I was the customs agent.
Signature: 9/10 - Maybe the slightest bit thicc but I don't think anybody will care. Correct placement. Signature is not raised, I am not sure whether this is correct.
Template: 7/10 - Going to start with my largest issue, the main photo and text are too far to the right. As far as I can tell from the Texas DPS pics, the photo shouldn't overlap the large Texas shape in the background and needs to be 2-3mm farther left, along with all of the text and I think the ghost image too. The ellipse with no guilloche pattern that is supposed to be on behind the face (in the UV too) is in the correct location relative to the background of the template, but it overlaps a lot of the face. For minor issues, the ghost image looks a little small, and the donor heart has no text. I'm not sure how this happened since it has the text on OIS's website. DL # and name are raised, but not a ton. Template of background looks excellent, microprint is very crisp.
Photoshop: 10/10 - Looks great, no issues.
Holo/OVI: 10/10 - No issues here either, very sexy and slightly raised, you can feel all the details.
UV: 9.5/10 - Very bright and vibrant colors with 365nm UV light, lots of detail. Alignment is close but not perfect and design in bottom left on back overlaps the DOB. Will be very sexy once the photo is in the correct location. UV alignment was worse on the duplicate, photos below are of the better ID.
Scanning: 10/10 - Works with every app I've thrown at it, haven't had the chance to test at a store yet.
Conclusion: I don't think these issues should be too difficult to fix and once they are, this will be a very high quality ID. This will probably work most a lot of places anyway right now because of how new it is, make sure you get the issue date correct if you decide to order.
