Hey, my payment that I made April 7th still hasn't appeared in my balance. I sent a ticket a few days ago as well. Any help?

When ordering a new ID, what is the cut off issue date to receive the latest v5 updates? Does the issue date need to be as close to present day as possible, or would an issue date of say 2017, or 2018 also have the v5 updates.
The cutoff is after September 2017, when Real ID passed in MI.
I'm pretty sure they were issuing both styles of IDs for a pretty long period of time (so both v4 and v5 were valid Real ID templates) but that would probably get too complicated. So everything that would get the Real ID star from here on out will get the v5 template, and everything else will be v4. (Emphasis on there was nothing wrong with v4, this is just a newer template that was issued.)
