How do I prepare for a suit fitting? ( self )

I'm going to make alterations for my costume for the first time. But I don't know if I should prepare myself in advance. For example, should I wear the same shoes I plan to wear with my costume, or does it not matter?

Yes, preparation is important! It's better to wear the shoes you're going to wear the suit with, so that you can get the length of the pants right. I also advise you to wear the shirt you plan to wear the jacket with - it will be easier to adjust the sleeves. I always follow these rules when I go to Dress Alterations and the result is perfect.

Oh, I wouldn't have guessed shoes! I always thought it was unimportant. But if the craftsman is looking at the overall look, it makes sense that everything should go together. Useful advice!
